Terms of use

The rules for using the service. By creating an account, you accept them.

Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the Prophetia website. They are entered into between PROPHETIA and anyone who accesses the site or creates an account on it.

They do not cover the sale conditions of paid plans, which will be set out in separate terms of sale.

What the service does, and what it does not

Prophetia brings together technical analysis of crypto-assets, portfolio tracking and help preparing the French tax return.

The service provides no investment advice and no personalised recommendation. It does not hold your crypto-assets, does not connect to your exchange accounts and cannot place any order on your behalf.

The tax file produced is an aid to filing, built from the data you provide. It is not tax advice and does not bind the tax authorities. You remain solely responsible for your return; when in doubt, consult a professional.

Account and security

Creating an account requires a valid email address and a password. You undertake to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential.

Any action taken from your account is deemed to come from you. Tell us without delay if you suspect unauthorised access.

The service is reserved for adults.

Acceptable use

You undertake not to:

  • attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
  • circumvent technical limitations, quotas or authentication mechanisms;
  • extract site content in bulk by automated means;
  • resell or redistribute the analyses produced without written permission;
  • use the service for unlawful purposes, or in a way likely to degrade it for others.

Availability

The service is provided without any guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or because of a third-party provider — in particular the market data and artificial intelligence providers that part of the functionality depends on.

When an analysis cannot be produced, the service says so explicitly rather than presenting an uncertain result as if it were reliable.

Liability

PROPHETIA takes reasonable steps to provide an accurate and available service, without guaranteeing the accuracy of market data supplied by third parties or the relevance of the analyses produced.

Investment decisions you make are your sole responsibility. We cannot be held liable for financial losses resulting from those decisions.

Deleting your account

You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@prophetia.fr. Deletion erases your portfolios, your transactions and your analysis history.

We may suspend or close an account in the event of a clear breach of these terms, after informing you, except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the service evolves. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page. Registered users are informed of any substantial change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls to the competent courts, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers, who may bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.

Under the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge to settle a dispute amicably, after first trying to resolve it directly with us.
